Welcome to the School of Chemistry's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) pages. In these pages you will find information about the School and its effort to improve equality, diversity and inclusion in the School through analysis and actions. The aim is to ensure the School has the best working environment and opportunities for all. As part of these goals the School has been a participant in the Athena SWAN process since 2014.
The School is committed to ensuring equality and diversity in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and at all points on the academic career ladder. We are delighted to announce that in October 2023 we were successful in obtaining our Athena SWAN silver award, having originally been awarded bronze in April 2015 (renewed in May 2019)
