Research Facilities
The School of Chemistry has a suite of high-spec instruments to assist researchers in the School in the characterization of novel materials in synthetic chemistry, including nano- and biophysical materials.

The School caters for
- NMR and other spectroscopic techniques e.g. CD, FTIR, Fluorimetry, UV-VIS
- Mass Spectrometry (ToF and ESI)
- X-ray crystallography (single crystal and powder), DLS, TGA and DSC
Before using any School of Chemistry equipment, you must arrange training by contacting the relevant Experimental/Technical Officer
Non-School of Chemistry researchers must contact the Head of School about access to instrumentation.
