Hugh Fay

Hugh is the Head of Analytical Solutions EU based in Henkel Ireland R&D in Tallaght.  The longest serving Senior Manager on site, he has had numerous roles since joining the company (then Loctite) in 1993 – from Process Chemist to Production Manager to Quality Manager UK+Ireland.  He has served on Programmatic Reviews for a number of courses in various universities and often participates in interview panels as an external industry representative.  Hugh is the Chair of Eurachem Ireland and has been a national representative since 2014.

He has a B.A (Mod) in Chemistry and a Ph.D in Electrochemistry from TCD, after which he was a post-doctoral Research Fellow on an industrial polymer characterisation project.  Hugh also holds a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance (ACCA) from the Dublin Business School.
