W.H.A. MACINTOSH PRIZE
This prize was founded by a legacy from Mr W.H.A. Macintosh, former chief technician in the Department of Chemistry. It is awarded annually to the student who is proceeding directly from moderatorship to undertake research in the School of Chemistry, leading to a Ph.D. in inorganic, organic or physical chemistry, and who has obtained the highest mark in his or her chemistry moderatorship examination.
