MARY CARSON BOOK PRIZE IN CHEMISTRY
This prize was established in 2023 in memory of Dr Mary Carson, who was one of the first female academics in the School of Chemistry and had a life-long involvement with the Trinity second-hand booksale. The prize is awarded annually on the recommendation of the Head of the School of Chemistry to the Senior Sophister student with the highest moderatorship mark in chemistry, medicinal chemistry, chemistry with molecular modelling, or chemistry with biosciences.
