I began my studies here in Trinity where I graduated with a B.A (Mod) in Chemistry. During my senior sophister year I spent four months at the University of Toronto working with Dr Mark Nitz on the development of sensors for the glycosaminoglycan, heparin. I joined the TG group in October 2005 and I am currently working on the design and synthesis of novel anti-cancer drugs and also anion sensors. When I’m not busy doing chemistry I have been told that I like to "chat" and I would see myself as a coffee loving funaholic... or designer shoe/bag... good times girl! |
