Vacancies

We are happy to recieved enquiries from well qualifies potential PhD students and postdoctoral researchers with an interest in theoretical materials research. We often have funded positions but in addition there are opportunities highlighted below. These fellowships are highly competative and hence prospective applicants should make contact well in advacned of the deadlines.

Current funded vacancies

A newly funded project has vacieis for one postdoctoral position (2 years in the first instance) and two PhD positions. All of these are part of a project investigating aspects of fluoride ion batteries using a combination of classical force fields, machine learning and density functional theory modelling. Interested candiates should send a CV, the names of two (three in the case of hte postdoc positon) referees and a cover letter explaining your interest in the post and in modelling. China scholorship council scholorships are available to Chinese student the the CSC-Trinity College Dublin joint Scholorship Programme. Expext deadline in March each year. More details can be found here .

Postdoctoral Schemes

MarieSklodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships are often run a number of times a year with more details here .
