Dr Umadevi Deivasigamani

Umadevi Deivasigamani obtained her Bachelor's degree from Fatima College and her Masters degree in Chemistry from The American College, Madurai Kamaraj University, India. She completed her Ph.D. in computational chemistry at the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, under the supervision of Prof. G. Narahari Sastry looking at the noncovalent functionalization of carbon based nanomaterials. She is currently working as Irish research council (IRC) postdoctoral fellow in Prof. Graeme Watson's research group at Trinity College Dublin. Her current research work focusses on the study of hybrid perovskite materials in relevant to their application in photovoltaics.
