Ailbhe Gavin received her B.A. (Mod) in Physics and Chemistry of Advanced Materials from Trinity College in 2013. She first worked with the group as an undergraduate in 2012, on a summer research project, and returned in 2013 for her postgraduate studies. She is currently researching mixed ionic and electronic conducting perovskite and Ruddlesden-Popper materials, for use as the cathode in intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells.
