Jenny (Meiying) Liang

Postgraduate Student

Research

Exfoliation 2D materials and their applications in solar energy harvesting, Li-ion batteries and so on.

She got her Bachelor degree in Tongji University, majoring in Applied Chemistry. After accomplishing undergraduate course, she continued her Master course in Prof. Qigang Wang's Group. During this master's, her research focused on functional metal oxides/conducting polymers composite hydrogels applied to electrode materials with various porous structures and she also researched enhanced electrochemical behaviors for flexible energy devices, such as supercapacitors and Li-ion batteries.

In 2013, she received Master's degree in Chemistry from Tongji University, Shanghai, China. In the same year, she started her PhD course in Prof. Valeria Nicolosi's Group at Trinity College Dublin where her main research project is the exfoliation and photovoltaic or electrochemical application of 2D materials.
